Dr. Joshua Green, N.D.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in whole foods nutrition from Bastyr University in 2001, Dr. Green graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Green completed the majority of his clinical rotations in community clinics, where he gained a lot of experience seeing natural medicine help those who needed a lot of help. After graduating, Dr. Green moved to Ithaca, NY to start his naturopathic family practice, and in 2011 relocated to Burlington, Vermont to be closer to the mountains and a (slightly) larger population.
Dr. Green has advanced training in Traditional Naturopathic Medicine and Constitutional Hydrotherapy, as well as a certificate in Classical Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy. In addition to seeing patients of all ages for family care, Dr. Green focuses on chronic disease (especially lyme/co-infections and mold illness), gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid disorders, mental health, and pediatrics. Dr. Green is a member of ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Disease Society) and is a Lyme Literate Naturopathic Physician.
Dr. Green practices primary and specialty care, and very much enjoys helping those with chronic and hard to treat conditions. Dr. Green's main goal is to provide safe, affordable, comprehensive natural family health care to the community.
In addition to maintaining a full time private practice and being the Clinical Director of Vermont Natural Family Medicine PLC, Dr. Green enjoys disc golfing, snowboarding, golfing, camping, kayaking, running and making whole-food based meals.
