Dr. Amanda Daniella Garcia, N.D.

Hailing from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Dr.Garcia has found herself in the beautiful state of Vermont due to its broad opportunities for Naturopathic physicians to provide care to the community.

Dr. Garcia is a firm believer that there is always learning to be done, which is no surprise when you take a look at her career. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2015, and went on to teach High School math for a few years in New Orleans, Louisiana. From there she returned home to NYC to continue tutoring and completed pre-requisites for medical school. In the midst of applying to medical school, she discovered Naturopathic medicine and felt it aligned more fully with her values and principles. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario and graduated in May 2023.

As a third generation immigrant from Puerto Rico, and self proclaimed Nuyorican (Spanish speaking patients welcome if you can bare with my slang and practicing medical terminology), Dr.Garcia has great interest in providing primary care to people from all walks of life and making naturopathic care accessible. During her final year of schooling in Toronto, she interned at two community Healthcare centres whose purposes were to provide free naturopathic care to underserved populations which included those who were low-income earning, BIPOC, and apart of the LGBTQIA2+ community, and/or indigenous.

Out of all the modalities in naturopathic medicine, Dr.Garcia loves homeopathy, acupuncture, and botanical medicine. She is passionate about primary care, and is willing to put in the time and effort to work together with her patients. Teamwork makes the dream work!

If she isn’t in clinic, you can find her walking anywhere, thrifting, baking, dabbling in photography or lost in a romantasy series.

Many blessings.
